Heat Index & Humidex
This calculator helps to calculate the Heat Index and Humidex factor. The heat index, (apparent temperature) is what the temperature feels like to the human body when relative humidity is combined with the air temperature. The humidex (short for humidity index) is an index number used by Canadian meteorologists to describe how hot the weather feels to the average person, by combining the effect of heat and humidity.
How to Use:
Type the value of the temperature and relative humidity or dew point in the field. Click on any empty space in the window or on the “calculate” button. The converted result will be shown in the other fields. You can use the “reset” button to reset the process.
