Frequency – Period Converter

Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time. The formula for frequency is: f (frequency) = 1 / T (period).
f = c / λ = wave speed c (m/s) / wavelength λ (m).

Period is the duration of one cycle in a repeating event. The formula for time is: T (period) = 1 / f (frequency).

 This converter is used to convert values for the frequency and the period in different units into each other.
